Method for measuring shaft deflection

By using V-block, the dial gauge is attached to the mounting bracket firmly. Then bring the shaft of the dial gauge to touch the shaft to be measured.By touching until the outer hand of the dial gauge has finished moving, then adjust the outer hand of the dial to position 0.Once the needle is set, turn the shaft slowly and keep turning until the outer needle moves as much as possible, then take a reading on the dial gauge.
