SILVER BRAZE (FLUX)
Commonly used in soldering metals. This will allow the lead solder to react chemically with the metal, making it possible to bond tightly together. The cementitious solution in metal welding is divided as follows:
1. RASIN FLUX rosin - helps prevent rust in the welds and does not bite metal, suitable for electrical appliances electronic equipment It looks like a lump or powder.
2. Zinc Chloride FLUX - a solution made from strong residual acids. Suitable for soldering metals such as steel sheet, zinc, nickel, copper, brass, etc.
3. Ready-made binder The amount of zinc chloride - is a viscous liquid like grease. But after finishing soldering Welds must be washed thoroughly with water or a solution.
4. Zinc chloride binder - looks like a lump. Therefore, it must be dissolved in clean water itself. The property is to bite the metal as before.
5. Hydrochloric acid binder - is a normal hydrochloric acid solution that coordinates well with ferrous metals, including tin-zinc baths. The method of use is to apply the liquid on the Leave the weld for 10-20 minutes before soldering. But soldering won't work well on cast iron or non-corrosive metals. And when the soldering is done, the liquid weld should be cleaned thoroughly every time.
6. Liquid soldering iron that does not rust (Stainless Steel) - This type of liquid reacts with the metal quickly, thus making it after the soldering is completed. For best results, be sure to rinse with 10% alkaline soap for best results.
7. Solder Paste for Aluminum Soldering - It is a solution with a very low melting point of metals, about 125 degrees Fahrenheit. Care must be taken as the metal to be welded may stick together before the solution melts. It is also not suitable for using a soldering iron. It is recommended to use it to burn in a stove or gas stove.
